DAY 01
:ARRIVE
DELHI
Arrive Delhi in the evening. Upon arrival, you shall met &
assisted with your baggages at the airport by our executive and
transferred to prebooked Hotel.
New & Old Delhi is the distinction between the capitals of the
British & the Moghuls respectively. So, wherever the visitor goes,
he will invariably confront the citys’ past.
DAY 02 :DELHI
SIGHTSEEING.
After breakfast, half day city tour of Old Delhi.
Visit Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India. drive past Red
Fort,; Chandni Chowk and Rajghat - the cremation site of Mahatma
Gandhi.
Afternoon, city tour of New Delhi Visit Humayuns Tomb : Qutab
Minar, drive past India Gate, President House, Connaught Place.
The tour ends with a visit to Laxmi Narayan Temple.Overnight at
Hotel.
DAY 03:
DELHI – JAIPUR
( 269 KMS / 5 HRS.)
Morning after breakfast drive to Jaipur.On arrival at Jaipur,
check into the hotel.in the afternoon city sightseeing covering
City Palace,Royal Observatory,Nawab Sahab Ki Haveli, in the
evening visit the local colorful Bazaar etc. O/N stay at hotel.
DAY 04 : JAIPUR
This morning after breakfast, In the afternoon, visit the "pink
city" so-called because a great deal of the older part is built of
pink-colored stone. Visit the Hawa Mahal (Wind Palace), a high and
intricately carved wall behind which women of the court were
sequestered while watching processions. Also see the Observatory
and the City Palace, which houses an excellent collection of
Rajasthani costumes, miniatures and an armory of Rajput weapons.
Enjoy lunch at Local Rajasthani Restaurant and see the largest
turban museum in Rajasthan. Enjoy dinner in the hotel. Overnight
at Hotel.
DAY 05
: JAIPUR - FATEHPUR SIKRI - AGRA
After
breakfast, leave for Agra, enroute visit the abandoned Mughal city
of Fatehpur
Sikri : built by Emperor Akbar in 1569, Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim
Chisti, Panch Mahal. Continue drive to
Agra.
Upon arrival, check-in at prebooked hotel.
DAY 06
: AGRA
After breakfast, city tour of Agra. Visit Red fort,
which was built by Emperor Akbar in 1565. Itmad-ud-daulah, - The
Taj Mahal, which was constructed by Shah Jahan in memory of his
wife Mumtaz Mahal. Afternoon, free for individual activities.
DAY 07
: AGRA - JHANSI - ORCHHA - KHAJURAHO
After breakfast, transfer to the railway station to
board train for Jhansi at 0815 hrs. Arrive Jhansi at 1040 hrs and
transfer to Khajuraho, enroute visit Orchha : Visit of the
surrounding fortress & local Ram Raja temple.Continue drive to
Khajuraho, upon arrival, check in at prebooked hotel.
DAY 08
: KHAJURAHO - DELHI (FLIGHT)
After
brekfast, visit Khajuraho : Built by the warrior Chandela,
the 25 odd surving temples display different facets of life,
including the sensual.
Visit the
eastern & western group of temples famous for their erotic
scultpures. Later, transfer to the airport to board flight 9W 724,
scheduled to depart at 1330 hrs. for
Delhi.
Arrive
Delhi at 1600 hrs., transfer to prebooked hotel.
DAY 09 : DEPART DELHI
Transfer to the airport to board flight back home
or onward destination |
